 Wellness Day

Wellness Day at Frederick Banting: March 9, 2017
The staff at Banting could not have asked for a better first annual Wellness Day! Both the day and evening portions exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to hosting this event next year. We hope you enjoyed whatever portion you attended.
There were a lot of organizations involved in making this day a success. We would like to thank the following individuals and groups for their involvement, resources, and time:
Peter Joynt: keynote speaker for the daytime portion of Wellness Day.  Peter is a hip-hop artist who, despite a lifelong speech impediment, has risen to success in the Ottawa area as a rapper, producer and motivational speaker. His talk was inspiring, and centred on themes of resiliency, positivity and fun. Thanks Pete! You can find more information about him at his website
Dr. Palframan: keynote speaker for the evening portion of Wellness Day. Dr. Palframan is a retired staff psychologist at CHEO who is dedicated to the welfare of children and youth. Please contact Banting if you wish to consult more with Dr. Palframan.
