Volunteer Hours
All students must complete community involvement activities as in order to graduate.
These activities must be:
- a minimum of 40 hours of total service (community involvement may begin in the summer after Grade 8);
- included in the list of the eligible activities;
- completed by the end of Grade 12 in order to be eligible to graduate with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Submitting your hours:
Please remember to seek your Principal's approval before starting any community involvement activity that you wish to use for the Community Involvement hours required for your OSSD. Students will still need to submit their hours using this electronic form (student login required). This form requires the same information as the traditional paper form. Volunteer supervisors may be contacted to verify the hours in place of the signature that is required on the paper form.
